Four Seasons of Fun Fill-Ups, Compliments of YOR Health

YOR Health makes a celebration of each season with these guilt-free and delicious drink recipes that prove we don’t have to sacrifice taste for a healthy lifestyle.
Spring – The YOR SuperGreen Energizing Smoothie
Inspired by the lush foliage that buds and blooms in spring, the YOR SuperGreen Energizing Smoothie has just the right balance of sweet and tart to keep you moving. A blend of creamy avocado, garden-fresh cucumber, and refreshing coconut water makes the YOR Energizing SuperGreen Smoothie a smart choice for morning, noon, or night.

  • Five ice cubes (YOR Health recommends ice made with purified water)
  • 1 cup not-from-concentrate coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (fresh makes for the best taste, says YOR Health)
  • 1/3 chopped cucumber
  • 1/2 cup greens (YOR Health suggests spinach or kale)
  • 1/2 ripe avocado*
  • One level scoop YOR SuperGreens

*Check for ripeness by pressing gently near stem. An avocado is ripe if the flesh is slightly soft, says YOR Health.
Blend until smooth to go lean and green.

Summer – YOR Pink Lemonade, an exclusive YOR Health Recipe
When you’re longing for surf, swim suits, and suntans, there’s nothing better than YOR Pink Lemonade. It makes a great alcohol-free replacement for cocktails when poured in a fancy glass and topped with a little umbrella.

  • +/- 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • 8 ounces of cold water (YOR Health recommends filtered water for best taste)
  • 1 packet of YOR Berry Blast

Add ingredients to the YOR Shaker Cup for a shot of sweet summertime serenity. At only 12 calories, the YOR Pink Lemonade is a go-to thirst quencher with no added sugar using only three simple ingredients.

Fall – YOR Pumpkin Spice Shake
This Fall flashback fills the air with the sweet scent of vanilla and pumpkin. Bring one to Thanksgiving dinner and let grandma in on the secret that indulgence doesn’t require stretchy pants.

  • One medium banana
  • Honey (approximately 1 teaspoon or to taste)
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice (more or less to taste)
  • 1 cup Silk Almond Milk
  • 2 ounces pumpkin puree **
  • 2 scoops YOR Shake, vanilla

** Fresh is best but canned may be substituted when not available.
YOR Health fans like to keep things simple and this treat can be enjoyed after approximately 90 seconds in a blender.

Winter – YOR Peppermint Shake from YOR Health
YOR Health has saved the best for last, and now proudly introduces the YOR Peppermint Shake. Even the Ice Queen herself couldn’t resist this minty melding of candy canes and coconut oil.

  • 1 peppermint candy cane (a small one will add just the right amount of flavor and texture)
  • 1 cup Silk Almond Milk
  • 1 tablespoon high-quality coconut oil
  • 1 ripe banana (adds creaminess and flavor)
  • 2 scoops YOR Shake, vanilla
  • 1-4 drops peppermint extract
  • 4 ice cubes, large

Add all ingredients to the blender, pulse until mixed, then blend on a medium to high setting for one minute or until creamy, dreamy, and done.
